I designed, patterned, constructed, and modeled the Red Elizabeth ensemble.

This project is in collaboration with Adrianne Williams, who designed, constructed, and modeled the complimentary garment in Green.

Inspired by Stephanie Syjuco’s monochrome historical dresses, Adrianne Williams and I decided to make garments that were both apposing in color and in theme. We designated red for Elizabeth the First and green for Mary Queen of Scotts. We wanted to use the limited color palette to symbolize their opposing but very similar lives.
